I was delighted to have taken part in the Weave Only A Trace exhibition in Shrewsbury this summer, as part of the Shrewsbury Arts Trail. The exhibition showcased the work of twelve Shropshire-based artist-makers who work with willow, wood and natural fibres.
The exhibition took place in the St Mary's Church, which was a stunning atmospheric backdrop to our work. My pieces were positioned on the altar, underneath one of the Church's world famous stained glass windows.

I exhibited five pieces from my willow designs collection: a trio of vases, a plant pot and plant stand. The vases featured dried flower and grass arrangements which I put together myself, using pieces from The Petal Bar and from my own garden. The arrangements were inspired by the end of summer harvest and the approaching autumn. I just love how the flowers pick up the colours and textures of the different willow varieties. My willow vases contain glass vases so you can use them for fresh or dried flower arrangements all year round.
Later this year, Weave Only A Trace will be returning to Ironbridge at the Footprint Gallery on November 18-30, 2025. Along with the main exhibition, there will be a festive pop up shop, daily demonstrations and workshop programme. For further information, please visit our website: www.weaveonlyatrace.co.uk
