About the course

Discover the basic tools and techniques of willow weaving, and make your own willow dragonfly and mini bird feeder to decorate your garden this summer. 

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. You'll learn the beautiful spiral weave technique to create a dragonfly, which we'll mount on a stick so it can fly above your flowers and shrubs. We'll then use the same technique but a different form to create a bird seed feeder.

About the venue

The workshop will take place at Coalport Village Hall, which is a lovely space on the banks of the River Severn at the bottom of the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site.
