About the course

Discover the basic tools and techniques of willow weaving, and go home with your very own woven fat ball bird feeder.

Suitable for complete beginners, this workshop will teach you the basic tools and techniques of willow weaving. You will be shown how to make your own woven fat ball feeder to feed your garden birds.

About the venue

The workshop will take place at Coalport Village Hall, which is a lovely space on the banks of the River Severn at the bottom of the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There's lots to explore in the area, including the Coalport China Museum, Maws Craft Centre and the Jackfield Tile Museum. You can also explore further afield, and go for a walk along the River Severn and take in the spectacular views and historic sites of the Ironbridge Gorge.
